“We Have Not Retreated a Millimeter from the Fight Against Corruption”: Pashinyan
The Armenian government's commitment to anti-corruption policies has not retreated a single millimeter since 2018. This statement was made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a cabinet meeting.
“Our fight has not only not retreated, but on the contrary, our struggle against corruption has intensified. It is often said that we registered significant progress in anti-corruption policy after 2018, then it slowed down. However, it should be noted that the more progress you make, the harder subsequent progress becomes,” he emphasized.
According to the Prime Minister, what could be achieved due to political will has been accomplished from 2018 to the present, and now only institutional reforms and substantive work remain to be done.
