Aliyev Accuses France
"By pursuing a destructive policy in the region, France is pouring gasoline on the fire": This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with Martin Chungong, the Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
According to the Azerbaijani president, official Paris is a source of tension in the region and is pursuing an anti-Azerbaijani policy at various international organizations and parliamentary levels. He accused France of conducting a policy aimed at gaining a leading position in the South Caucasus region and strengthening its influence.
It is noteworthy that during a meeting in Baku with Martin Chungong, the President of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, Sahib Gafarova, stated that certain European countries, particularly France, do not want peace in the South Caucasus.
