F-16 Fighter Jet Crashes in South Korea

An F-16 fighter jet of the U.S. Air Force crashed on Wednesday during a training flight near the shores of South Korea, following an emergency situation. This incident marks the third crash involving military aircraft stationed in Korea within a year.

The pilot successfully ejected from the aircraft and was recovered about 50 minutes after the crash, according to a statement from the Air Force. The pilot was in a conscious state and has been transferred to a medical facility for evaluation.
