Former Defense Army Commander to Be Questioned Alongside "Yehnikner" Military Unit Commander Karen Jalavyan
The newspaper "Joghvorud" reports: In the criminal case against former Defense Army commander Mikael Arzumanyan, as part of the investigation into the handover of the Areghasar height, the commander of the "Yehnikner" military unit, Artsakh hero Karen Jalavyan, known as Kyokh, is to be summoned to the Anti-Corruption Court.
The case is being examined in a closed court session. Recall that Mikael Arzumanyan is charged with demonstrating negligence in fulfilling his official duties during the period from October 30 to November 9, 2020, regarding the organization of defense for the city of Shushi and surrounding areas. As a result, according to the Investigative Committee, enemy armed forces completely took control of the city of Shushi and its outskirts, leading to casualties and injuries among Armenian units.
