I Haven't Heard Assurances from Baku That They Are Ready to Sign a Peace Agreement in Russia: Mirzoyan
Recently, various mediations are not mediations in the classical sense of the word, as the Armenian public perceived that term in the context of the OSCE Minsk Group, when proposals were developed and presented to the parties. This was stated by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a press conference.
He emphasized that lately, these mediations are primarily about organizing new meetings.
Mirzoyan also spoke about whether Baku is ready to sign a peace agreement in Russia. “I do not know, I have not heard such assurances from the Azerbaijani side either in closed or public meetings. If Sergey Lavrov claims so, perhaps he has some basis for this,” said Mirzoyan.
