Ruben Vardanyan's Detention Period Extended
The former State Minister of Artsakh and philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan has had his detention period extended by 4 months. This information has been reported by Azerbaijani media.
He faces three charges: financial terrorism, formation and participation in illegal armed groups, and illegal crossing of the state border. Vardanyan is at risk of facing a 14-year prison sentence.
It is worth noting that the philanthropist was detained in Azerbaijan on September 28, 2023, also for a period of 4 months.
