Ukrainian Armed Forces' Counteroffensive Successful Only for Russia: Zakharova

The counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been successful not for Kyiv, but for Russia, wrote Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, on her Telegram channel.

Earlier, Andrey Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, had stated in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Mundo that he considers the country's armed forces' counteroffensive to be "quite successful," taking into account the resources available to it, including external assistance.

"He forgot to add ‘for Russia’," Zakharova wrote.
