VIDEO: Must Cholera Spread for You to Take Action? – Danielyan
Garnik Danielyan, a member of the Armenia parliamentary group, has shared a video on his page with the following message: "This disgraceful situation has been ongoing for two months at the address Shiraz 66 in the Shengavit administrative district. Due to the sewage water leakage, residents are facing a distressing situation, forced to breathe the foul odors every day. Numerous letters from residents to the Yerevan city hall, Veolia Water / Veolia Armenia company, and the homeowners’ association remain unanswered. Meanwhile, the issue is urgent, and the pipes need to be replaced in a short timeframe. The responsible parties for this situation are Veolia Water and the city authorities, who are effectively exhibiting inaction. Do irreversible losses or an outbreak of cholera need to happen for you to take action? Instead of staging shows, get to work and rectify this unhygienic situation," he wrote.
