What is not prohibited by law, is arguably permitted: Avanesyan

Since 1993, the company has been operating in Armenia and has participated in state tenders since then. This was stated by Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan during a press briefing, responding to a question about whether it is normal for her department to regularly procure from a business owned by her family.

She urged that if there are any questions, they should be addressed in writing, and they will provide all information regarding the tenders they have participated in and the results achieved.

She also noted that besides being a democracy, we also live in a state governed by law, and what is not prohibited by law is arguably permitted. It is worth mentioning that according to the media, the “Wigmore” clinic is connected to the family of Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan.
