It is unfair to say to the government: why haven’t you solved the issue of our yard's dog? - Prime Minister
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan considers it unfair that the government is asked why it has not solved the issue of the dog in their yard.
“We give millions to the communities, should we also collect garbage and solve the dog issue? When we build a 5-meter sidewalk with the subsidies and grants, from morning to evening, they say: look what our community did, what else it achieved. When there's a bottle lying on the sidewalk that should be picked up, they say: why hasn’t the government taken this bottle, why hasn’t it solved the dog’s issue?” noted Pashinyan.
The head of government also announced that since 2018, the increases in the subsidies given to communities have been such that they could not even have imagined this could ever happen. “We do not build roads for elections; we build roads for people,” Pashinyan remarked.
