A Batch of Russian Weapons Has Arrived in Armenia: Gagik Melkonyan
A batch of Russian weapons has already arrived in Armenia. This was reported to "Azatutyun" by Gagik Melkonyan, a member of the Parliament's Defense Committee.
According to him, the weapons batch recently reached Armenia. Gagik Melkonyan stated that this batch has been transferred to Armenia within the framework of a previously signed agreement with Russia.
Recently, the chairman of the National Assembly's Defense Committee, Andranik Kocharyan, answered a question on Public Television regarding whether Armenia is receiving the ordered Russian weapons, stating, “In some proportion, yes.”
“They are giving us something, not to the extent that we expect according to the volume of our signed agreement, but these issues will be resolved over time, I am confident,” Kocharyan said.
