Kopirkin on Anti-Russian Sentiments in Armenia
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin, announced that he has not encountered anti-Russian sentiments in the Armenian reality. He made this statement in an interview with the Armenian Public Television.
The diplomat noted that he has been living in Armenia with his family for 5.5 years and has formed warm and friendly relations with many Armenians. 'I have never thought, do not think, and will not think that the Armenian people harbor anti-Russian sentiments. I see completely different realities in everyday communication. No one has accused Armenians of having anti-Russian sentiments,' said Kopirkin.
Kopirkin also understands what kind of campaign has been launched and what forces are involved in discrediting Russia and shaping negative opinions about Russia and its goals among the Armenian public.
