Panamanian Ship Blown Up by Russian Mine in the Black Sea, Injuries Reported
A civilian vessel flying the flag of Panama was blown up by a Russian naval mine in the Black Sea. The ship was en route to one of the Danube ports to load grain, according to reports from Ukraine's defense forces.
The vessel lost speed and control, resulting in a fire breaking out on the upper deck. Coast guard and search and rescue boats provided assistance to the crew and brought in medical personnel. Two sailors were injured in the incident.
One of the injured received on-site medical assistance, while the second was transported to a nearby hospital, accompanied by medical staff. His condition is reported as satisfactory.
