Closed and Difficult to Traverse Roads in Armenia According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations
The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress and Kar Lake are currently closed.
The Vardenyats Pass is open for all types of vehicles.
Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Situations Department and the North Ossetia Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, the stepantsminda-Lars road is only open for passenger vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
