Yerevan to Have 19-Meter New Buses: 2024 Plans
The Yerevan Council has approved the capital's development program for 2024. A total of 36 council members voted in favor, 11 against, and one abstained.
The development program for Yerevan in 2024 includes plans for:
- Acquisition of 249 new 19-meter buses
- Purchase of 171 8.5-meter buses
- Purchase of 71 new trolleybuses
- Modernization of metro carriages
- Implementation of a new traffic light regulation system with 350 units
- Construction of 420 electric charging stations
- Replacement of 600 elevators
- Modernization of street lighting systems in 28 streets
