Erdogan: 'France Is Hurting Armenia'
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has commented on France's provision of arms to Armenia. This information comes from local media.
After returning from Greece, the Turkish head of state stated in a conversation with reporters that France is not doing a favor to Armenia with these actions, but rather harming it.
"Those who arm Armenia will soon leave it alone. France is sending armored vehicles to Armenia, which is simply a provocation. France should know that it is not doing a favor to Armenia, but rather causing harm," Erdogan said.
He also added that the Armenian authorities, having learned from recent events, should not resort to 'provocations'. "It is in Armenia's interest to take advantage of the opportunity for peace and not fall into the traps of disorienting countries. Peace-based relations with Azerbaijan are the best option for Armenia," Erdogan noted.
