VIDEO: '95 High-Ranking Officials Targeted by the Anti-Corruption Commission' – Arzvik Minasyan
“Haikuhy Harutyunyan, being non-political and demonstrating will and determination over the past four years, has made an effort to establish an institution, towards the seizure of which you are now executing yet another operation,” stated opposition faction MP Arzvik Minasyan, addressing the ruling party during a session of the National Assembly.
It is noteworthy that the National Assembly is discussing the election of a member of the Anti-Corruption Commission. Haikuhy Harutyunyan's candidacy has been nominated for the vacant position.
“By examining the commission's website, I discovered information regarding the results of the analysis of declarations based on risk criteria, where the following officials are in the high-risk area: the President of the Republic, the Speaker of the National Assembly, deputies, the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, ministers, the Chief of Police, and others,” announced Minasyan.
The deputy added that “95 high-ranking officials are under scrutiny to become targets for the Anti-Corruption Commission. Therefore, the authorities' goal is to conceal potential violations that could be exposed by these officials,” he concluded.
