Not Significant: Peskov on Putin's Nomination for 'Person of the Year'
The role of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the country and the world is hard to overestimate. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, while commenting on the inclusion of Putin in the short list of candidates for the title of 'Person of the Year 2023' according to American magazine Time.
“This nomination is not significant,” Peskov said.
It is reported that among the candidates for the 'Person of the Year 2023' title are also King Charles III of Great Britain, American singer Taylor Swift, Chinese leader Xi Jinping, CHatGPT creator Sam Altman, and others. The name of the winner will be announced on Wednesday, December 6.
As previously reported, the American magazine Time nominated Putin for the 'Person of the Year' title.
