Funds from the White House for Ukraine Run Out
The White House has sent a letter to the leadership of the U.S. Congress warning that funds for aid to Ukraine will be depleted by the end of the year unless legislators approve the necessary increase in funding. Bloomberg reports this.
"We don’t have a magical stash of finances to withstand this situation. Our funds have run out and time is almost up," said the head of the Office of Management and Budget in the White House in his letter.
The official noted that Congress's inaction would 'bring Ukraine to its knees on the battlefield, which would not only jeopardize the achievements Ukraine has made but also increase the likelihood of Russian military victories.'
