Israel Launches Airstrikes on Gaza

Israeli air forces are currently targeting Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on their Telegram channel.

“The IDF fighters are presently striking at targets of Hamas terrorists in the Gaza area,” the statement from the Israeli army reads.

It is also known that the Israeli artillery has targeted locations east of the city of Rafah, near the border with Egypt. Eyewitnesses shared this information with RIA Novosti.

Earlier, the Israeli Defense Forces announced the resumption of military operations. In a statement, the IDF accused Hamas of violating the conditions of a “temporary ceasefire” and shelling Israeli territory.
