Iran Criticizes Washington for Playing a Diplomatic Performance
The spokesman for the Iranian parliament, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, has accused the United States of organizing a "diplomatic performance." In his statement, he criticized Washington's actions, noting that on one hand, there are talks of a possible attack, while on the other hand, there is a desire for negotiations.
"A large-scale attack is being prepared… No, they want to negotiate," Qalibaf wrote. He stated that the use of threats, unfulfilled promises, and false news as a means of pressure is a failed strategy.
Qalibaf called for the recognition of facts and the fulfillment of obligations, noting that Tehran "does not need new performances."
