Rumors Circulated by Certain Users are False: Artsakh Information Headquarters
News circulating on the internet about the embezzlement of funds from the state budget and the privatization of service vehicles by certain users is false. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
“Considering the discussions among the population due to the spread of misinformation, we present the following: after the recent military operations, the total expenditure from the state budget amounted to approximately 463 million drams.
In accordance with the legislation concerning the budgetary system and with the signatures of the verified recipients, we outline the expenditures as follows:
- Partial provision of salaries and equivalent payments (260 million drams) to employees who actually worked in the territory of the republic (Office of the President, Government Administration, Armed Forces, Police, Emergency Situations Service, National Security Service, Investigative Committee, healthcare institutions);
- Settlement of obligations to 18 companies by the Ministry of Urban Development for previously completed construction works (83.5 million drams);
- Settlement of obligations by the Ministry of Agriculture to various operators for subsidizing the cost of meat due to the blockade of the country (about 96 million drams);
- Payments for transportation services for the evacuation of the population after military operations and expenses for the burial of the deceased (23.5 million drams).
The state budget’s treasury accounts in the Republic of Artsakh continue to hold approximately 3.1 billion drams, which is frozen, and no transactions are being conducted.
Regarding service vehicles, no decisions have been made concerning the service vehicles in the balance of state management and local self-governance bodies, and their further management will only be clarified after relevant decisions are made,” the statement said.
