Headquarters Established for Supporting Armenians in Israel: What is the Situation in Armenian Settlements?
The number of fatalities in Israel has surpassed 1,200, with 2,700 injured. Nighttime rocket fire continued in southern areas, while central regions experienced relative calm overnight. This was reported in an interview with Artem Chernamoryan, the president of the 'Nairi' association in Petah Tikva and chief editor of the newspaper 'Hraparak'.
According to him, Lebanon’s Hezbollah has announced the mobilization of its 'army'. 'Communication with various Armenian-populated areas in Israel continues. We are receiving phone calls from people. In the cities under rocket attack, we have community representatives who can provide support,' noted the Israeli-Armenian figure.
The 'Nairi' association of Israeli Armenians in Petah Tikva has established an information and support headquarters for Armenians, Chernamoryan reported, adding: 'All citizens in need of assistance are encouraged to contact the 'Nairi' association of Israeli Armenians in Petah Tikva. The 'Nairi' association has offered its readiness to assist the rear service of the Petah Tikva city council and has expressed its willingness to support the residents of the city during this wartime situation to Mayor Rami Greenberg.' The contact numbers are: 054-808-27-35, 050-716-45-57, 052-336-47-74. 'We cooperate with the Armenian Embassy in Israel and are in contact. The embassy has a hotline available.'
