Arsen Torosyan on the Attack Against Arthur Chakhoyan

Member of the 'Civil Contract' faction Arsen Torosyan has commented on the assassination attempt against public figure Arthur Chakhoyan: 'I learned from social media that an attack occurred today against Arthur Chakhoyan, who has recently been engaged in active public work. It seems that one of the attackers was neutralized on the spot and handed over to the police. I expect the entire law enforcement system to uncover the complete circumstances of what happened and that all those responsible will be held accountable to the full extent of the law. Public activism and freedom of speech, regardless of whether we like them or not, are elements of democratic and transparent governance and must be protected by the state.'
