The deputy of the "Civil Contract" faction, Gevorg Papoyan, addressed the opposition factions and their criticisms during the National Assembly session.

"For three years, you have done everything to ensure that you do not leave your posts, so you could seize power in Armenia. However, you failed to seize power in Armenia but managed to seize it in Artsakh, and what happened? A week later, you signed the capitulation. That capitulation was your doing; in 2020, Armenia did not sign a capitulation. Armenia signed a document with unfavorable conditions. You signed that capitulation, therefore, yes, you are the capitulator, you are the traitor, and you are the one who has surrendered the land. Remember that during your tenure, something occurred that will remain in the pages of history like the agreements of Alexandrapol and Batumi, and you cannot escape that."
