Gymnast Arthur Davtyan Secures Ticket to Paris Olympic Games

Member of the Armenian gymnastics team, Olympic bronze medalist, world and European champion Arthur Davtyan has secured a spot in the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

Head coach of the Armenian team Hakob Serobyan made this announcement in an interview with Armenpress. During the ongoing gymnastics World Qualification Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, Arthur Davtyan competed in the all-around event and earned his Olympic ticket.

Davtyan has previously participated in the London 2012, Rio 2016, and Tokyo 2020 Games. This will be the fourth Olympic appearance for the Armenian gymnast, who won a bronze medal in vault at the previous Games.

As of now, Armenia has six participants confirmed for the 33rd Summer Olympic Games, including shooter Elmira Karapetyan and wrestlers Artur Aleksanyan, Malkhas Amoyan, Slavic Galstyan, Vazgen Tevanyan, and Arsen Harutyunyan.
