"It is important that the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh can make independent decisions" - Miller
Residents of Nagorno-Karabakh should have the opportunity to leave the region freely and, if they wish, to return there. This statement was made by Matthew Miller, a representative of the U.S. Department of State.
"It is important that the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh can make independent decisions to leave if they want to, and have the opportunity to return if they wish," he said.
Miller noted that the U.S. remains concerned about the humanitarian situation in the region and calls for ensuring unhindered access to humanitarian assistance in Nagorno-Karabakh.
