Erdogan Departing for Nakhchivan Today
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to depart for Nakhchivan today, where he is expected to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Azerbaijani media, the two leaders are anticipated to discuss Ankara's proposal for a meeting between the leaders of Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
It is noteworthy that Erdogan announced his intentions during a press briefing held before his departure for the UN General Assembly in the United States. He stated that he plans to discuss the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Furthermore, Erdogan indicated that there has yet to be a response from Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia regarding the proposal.
