We Will Begin Work on the Opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor' Soon, Turkish Minister Says
"In the coming months, the Turkish side will begin work on the opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor': This was stated by Turkey's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu today in Istanbul, as reported by Turkish media.
“We have made certain progress regarding the Zangezur Corridor, and I believe that in a short period of time Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Armenia will bring this project to life,” the Turkish minister noted.
It is worth recalling that recently, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced that “Baku has a 'Plan B' for the opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor' without Armenia's participation.”
Official Yerevan has repeatedly stated that Armenia is ready to unblock transportation and economic ties in the region based on the principles of sovereignty, legality, reciprocity, and equality, and any corridor logic through Armenian territory is unacceptable.
