Zelensky: 'Putin has killed Prigozhin, at least we have such information'
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has joined the ranks of those who hold the Kremlin responsible for the death of Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin. In this context, Zelensky publicly mentioned Putin, as reported by the BBC.
"Putin has killed Prigozhin, at least we have such information," said the Ukrainian president at the Yalta Summit in Kyiv.
"We did not declare days of mourning in Ukraine when Prigozhin died," Zelensky continued. "For us, this is just the loss of one terrorist."
It is worth recalling that on August 23, an aircraft crashed in the Tver region of Russia, carrying 10 people, including Prigozhin and the Wagner PMC leadership. All aboard were killed. Only on August 27 was Prigozhin's death officially confirmed.
