The European Union regrets that the government of Georgia has allowed the resumption of direct flights with Russia, stated Josep Borrell, head of the EU External Action Service, in an interview with Georgian outlet civil.ge.
Borrell added that the EU expects partner countries, as well as those aspiring to become EU members, to adhere to the decisions of European foreign policy.
It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on May 10, resuming air connectivity between the two countries.
