Alen Simonyan Participates in the Campaign of the CP, Comments from the National Assembly

In relation to the mayoral elections in Yerevan, we noticed that the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, is also participating in the campaign.

Auroranews contacted the spokesperson of the National Assembly president, Tsovinar Khacharyan, to understand whether this occurred during Simonyan's working hours.

In our conversation, Tsovinar Khacharyan confirmed that it indeed took place during working hours and stated, "There are no regulations; he can attend the campaign whenever he wants to."

When asked if he has any connection to the Yerevan mayoral campaign, Tsovinar Khacharyan responded, "Since he is a member of the CP party and a member of the board, he is connected as all lawmakers go to the campaign."
