Pressure Must Be Applied on Russia and Ukraine for Peace Negotiations
Russia and Ukraine can only begin peace negotiations if pressure is applied on them. This opinion was expressed by former Finnish Prime Minister Alexander Stubb in an interview with the newspaper 20minutos.
The Russian side has repeatedly stated its position on the Ukraine conflict at various levels. As previously noted by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, Moscow has always been and remains open to a diplomatic resolution of the crisis and is ready to respond to genuinely serious proposals, while Kyiv has interrupted and prohibited negotiations with Russia.
