VIDEO: Arayik Harutyunyan Emerges to Make a Statement Following Emergency Session in Artsakh
The emergency session of the Artsakh Parliament has concluded. Earlier, a session of the Security Council was held, during which the president informed participants about actions being taken to clarify the fates of Artsakh citizens kidnapped by Azerbaijan yesterday and to secure their return home.
According to local Telegram channels, Arayik Harutyunyan emerged before the public and stated that he would personally ensure the return of the captured Armenian students home, urging everyone to disperse, promising 'good news' by 9 AM.
Harutyunyan also announced that the Azerbaijani side would open the Lachin corridor, allowing those wishing to leave.
'We are alone; Putin and Biden cannot do anything. We have no friends or support, and we will solve all issues together,' he said.
Arayik expressed dissatisfaction with the shortage of bread, flour, and food supplies. Reports from Telegram channels indicate that people were discussing among themselves outside the Parliament, with some saying, 'Can you leave? It is impossible to go further with you; we will fight without you.'
