Azerbaijani Complaints Lead to Deletion of Artsakh President's Official Facebook Page
The official Facebook page of the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has been deleted as a result of prolonged complaints from the Azerbaijani side. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters, which refers to the Presidential Administration.
“For months, there have been active complaints against the page, which resulted in gradual restrictions being placed on it, manifesting as an artificial decrease in post visibility and inaccessibility to various functions. Due to the latest complaints, the page became completely unavailable on August 26,” the statement reads.
The page had 459,000 followers and played a crucial role in ensuring transparency in the activities of the President of Artsakh. The Presidential Administration deems Facebook’s decision unacceptable, especially given the current severe conditions where Azerbaijan seeks to isolate and besiege the people of Artsakh, including in the information space.
