Air Temperature Expected to Gradually Decrease by 3-6 Degrees
From August 23-28, a high fire danger situation will persist in Yerevan, the Ararat plain, the foothills of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, and the valleys of Syunik and Tavush. This information was reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
In Yerevan, during the day on August 23, and on the 26-27, dry weather is expected. On August 24-25 and 28 in the evening, brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the city. On August 23, and 26-28 in the evenings, an increase in wind strength is expected at 15-18 m/s, while on the 24-25, wind speeds of 17-20 m/s are anticipated.
In the territories of the Republic, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in separate regions on August 23, 24, 28 in the afternoon, and overnight on the 25th, with possible hail in some areas. The day on August 26 and 27 is expected to be dry.
The wind will be from the west at 3-5 m/s, with expected gusts of 18-22 m/s during thunderstorms. The air temperature will gradually decrease by 3-6 degrees on August 25-26.
