14 Political Forces Participating in Yerevan City Council Elections Announced
The process of assigning numbers to the 14 political forces participating in the Yerevan City Council elections took place at the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia. Below are the parties and coalition listed in the order of the numbers they received through a draw:
- Public Voice Party
- Civil Contract Party
- Just Armenia Party
- Victory Party
- Power of the Fatherland Party
- European Party of Armenia
- National Progress Party
- For Social Justice Party
- Republic Party
- United Armenia Party
- Enlightened Armenia Party
- Democratic Alliance Party
- Living Country Party
- Mother Armenia Coalition (composed of the Country of Life and Intellectual Armenia parties)
During the CEC meeting, the issue of providing advertising panels was also discussed. A total of 2,879 advertising panels have been submitted for the Yerevan City Council elections, of which 2,245 are intended to be posted in elevators.
It should be noted that the electoral rolls will be published on the CEC website, elections.am, within a three-day period after the registration of participating forces, until August 21.
Declarations of assets and income of candidates for the parties and city council members will be submitted to the CEC from August 18 to August 23.
The election campaign will begin on August 23 and end on September 15. The Yerevan City Council elections are scheduled to take place on September 17.
