Immediate Measures Needed to Overcome Humanitarian Disaster in Artsakh: Armenian Human Rights Defender
The Nagorno-Karabakh region has been under blockade for over 8 months. This was stated by the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Anahit Manasyan, on her Twitter microblog. She also shared a video with her post.
"Since June 15, no humanitarian aid has reached the region. The elderly, people with disabilities, children, and pregnant women are particularly vulnerable, with the number of miscarriages in Nagorno-Karabakh tripling," she stated.
"Immediate measures are necessary to overcome the humanitarian disaster," she added.
