Upcoming Developments Expected: Artsakh President Addresses Local Mothers
On the evening of August 1, a group of concerned mothers from Artsakh gathered at the Renaissance Square to voice their issues related to the prolonged blockade of Artsakh and to receive answers to their pressing questions.
According to Artsakhpress, President Arayik Harutyunyan met with the mothers in small groups due to limited seating capacity in the hall, responding to the raised concerns.
"We have indicated that the situation is critical. The most important issue we have emphasized is security. Following the recent incident involving the kidnapping of Vagif Khachatryan, we are all more concerned that any one of us could be next. In response to our raised issues, the President stated that developments are expected in the coming days, after which he will provide answers to the troubling questions. He mentioned that he has sent letters to the leadership of the Russian Federation and the United States and is awaiting a response," Mariam Abrahamyan, one of the initiators of the meeting, said in an interview.
