Video: Why David Tonoyan Went to Meghri During the War
Under the directive of the Prime Minister, I was in Meghri from October 21 to 29 (I don’t remember the exact days). During the Prime Minister’s open discussions, it became clear to me why I was there, former Defense Minister David Tonoyan said on August 1 at the meeting of the parliamentary committee investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war.
“The discussion pertains to the deployment of peacekeeping forces in Meghri during the negotiation process. That is how I can synthesize this situation,” he stated.
