Current Situation Is Not Stable and Creates Tension: EU Permanent Representative at OSCE on the Lachin Corridor
The EU's permanent representative at the OSCE, Rasa Astraukaitė, stated during a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna that the blockade of the Lachin Corridor is creating tension in the region. She conveyed this message on her Twitter account.
"The EU has repeatedly urged the authorities in Azerbaijan to fully restore the movement of goods and people through the Lachin Corridor, in accordance with the ruling of the International Court of Justice, as well as to ensure uninterrupted energy supply. The current situation is not stable and creates tension," she wrote.
It is noteworthy that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan also spoke at the extraordinary meeting convened at the request of Armenia.
