Heavy Rains in Georgia Damage Houses, Roads, and Bridges

In Georgia's Imereti region, heavy rains have resulted in damage to houses, roads, and bridges. This was reported by the Georgian service of Sputnik News.

It is reported that in the municipality of Baghdati, water has overflowed its banks, causing damage to houses, roads, bridges, and agricultural lands. There has also been a landslide in the village of Nergeeti.

It is noted that 1,300 families are without gas, while 700 are without electricity. According to the media, heavy machinery is working on-site to clear and assess the damage.
