Russia, Iran, Palestine: Biden and Israeli President Meet
US President Joe Biden met with Israeli President Isaac Herzog to discuss issues concerning Iran and Russia, the White House reports.
They consulted on key issues of mutual interest, including enhancing coordination to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and addressing Iran's growing defense partnership with Russia.
Biden reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining a path for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through negotiations based on the two-state solution, as well as ensuring equal conditions for freedom, prosperity, and security for both Israelis and Palestinians.
The President emphasized the need for additional measures to improve the security and economic situation in the West Bank and to prevent terrorist attacks, according to the US President's office.
The leaders also discussed ongoing collaboration to develop technological solutions to tackle common global challenges such as climate change, pandemics, and food insecurity.
