We Will Resort to More Severe Actions: Arayik Harutyunyan on the Situation in Artsakh
Arayik Harutyunyan, the President of Artsakh, announces a sit-in protest.
“Given the extremely grave situation and the impending humanitarian and security disaster, I have decided to resort to an extreme measure, which is to join the sit-in launched by numerous citizens at the Revival Square in Stepanakert from this moment. This serves as an additional signal and alarm to draw international practical attention, urging the international community to fulfill its obligations, and pushing the Armenian people and all our friends towards active and immediate actions,” he stated.
In his recent address, Harutyunyan called on the Armenian diaspora and the people of Artsakh to join the sit-in. “If the situation of the people of Artsakh does not return to a more or less normal state with international intervention within a week, we will resort to more severe actions,” said Harutyunyan, adding that the moment is critical.
