Doctor of Historical Sciences Haik Demoyan wrote on his Facebook page: 'The municipal economy department of Yerevan City Hall has been told a thousand times, and we’ll say it once more: The granite expensive slabs of Northern Avenue periodically turn into a shattered mass because a truck weighing 10 tons is brought into a busy section to irrigate 20 trees, and you curse the whole promenade. Yesterday was the same scene. How many times can it be explained? Right now, go and try to walk at the beginning of Northern Avenue. Those slabs have definitely not shattered due to pedestrian or bicycle action...'
