Video: What the Updated Opel Logo Looks Like
The German automotive company Opel has unveiled its updated logo, which retains its main element—the lightning bolt. Overall, the logo has a more minimalist appearance, with thinner lines. It has been named the Opel Compass.
The updated logo is set to appear on vehicles in 2024. According to the company's CEO, Florian Huettl, the refreshed logo not only symbolizes a commitment to innovation but also 'reflects the ambition to become a fully electric brand in Europe by 2028.'
In 2021, Opel announced its intention to replace vehicle logos with QR codes.
