First Images of Saturn Released by James Webb Space Telescope
The first images of Saturn taken by the James Webb Space Telescope have been released. The pictures were captured using the Near Infrared Spectrograph (NIRSpec) camera. Although the images have not yet been processed, they reveal the planet's rings as well as clouds on its surface.
Science Alert reports that the white dots in the images will not be present in the final versions.
