Video: A hit-and-run accident occurred in Yerevan, the driver fled the scene
A hit-and-run accident occurred recently on Nairi Zaryan Street in Yerevan. Fortunately, the girl who was hit did not sustain serious injuries. An Auroranews reporter at the scene noted that she appeared very frightened and was complaining of pain in her knees, which led paramedics to assist her onto a stretcher and into their vehicle.
Notably, the girl was crossing the street at a designated pedestrian crossing when the incident took place. The driver of the Opel Zafira attempted to flee the scene, but police officers pursued him and brought him back to the location of the accident.
