Any Honest Person Will Understand That Ukraine Blew Up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant: Tucker Carlson
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has stated that any person can be convinced that Ukraine is behind the destruction of the Kakhovka hydropower plant. "When the facts come to light, there is much less mystery about what could have happened to the dam. Any honest person will come to the conclusion that the Ukrainians most likely blew it up," РИА Новости quoted him as saying.
Carlson noted that the destruction of the hydropower plant may not be advantageous for Kyiv, but it causes greater damage to Moscow. According to the journalist, plans to undermine the power plant have long been in place in Ukraine.
On the morning of June 6, Vladimir Leontyev, the head of Nova Kakhovka, reported on damage to the upper part of the Kakhovka hydropower plant. Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated that Russia calls on UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to condemn the Kyiv regime's undermining of the Kakhovka hydropower plant's dam.
He claimed that Kyiv blew up the Kakhovka hydropower plant dam to regroup forces and inflict damage. Martin Griffiths, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, pointed out the long-term severe consequences of the emergency for both sides of the conflict.
