Armenian Young Wrestlers Achieve Success in Belarus

At the freestyle wrestling tournament dedicated to Dmitry Karbyshev, held in the city of Grodno, Belarus, Armenian young wrestlers have won 4 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals. This information was reported by the Armenian Wrestling Federation.

Specifically, during the tournament held from May 20-24, the gold medalists included Sargis Begoyan in the 57 kg category, Edik Harutyunyan in the 61 kg category, Hayk Abrahamyan in the 65 kg category, and Khachatur Khachatryan in the 97 kg category.

Silver medals were awarded to Haiko Gasparyan in the 57 kg category and Davit Margaryan in the 70 kg category.

The bronze medalists were Narek Hakobyan in the 57 kg category, Ashot Chapukhyan in the 65 kg category, Anushavan Barseshyan and Artyom Isakhanyan in the 70 kg category, and Aren Israelian in the 79 kg category.

It is noted that the Armenian young wrestlers have already returned to Yerevan and are preparing for the European Championship.
